Violet Malcom led a 14-member contingent, representing the Bayonne Recreation Keglers Special Olympics bowling team, by copping a gold medal in her division. The Keglers were accompanied to the meet by John Valdora, Denise Bawiec, Theresa Diaz, Veronica Burns, and Willie Pacas. The event was contested at the Brunswick Zone Bowling Lanes (in North Brunswick). The results are:
