A mass of Christian burial was celebrated April 9 at St. Mary’s Church of Deal for Concetta A. Agostini, 87 of Allenhurst. She passed away April 3 in Allenhurst. Born in Union City, Connie was a graduate of St. Michael’s High School and Traphagen School of Fashion. She played the piano and entertained homecoming troops for the USO. Connie was a medical secretary for the Union City Board of Education for 42 years. In 1994, she moved with her family to Allenhurst. An avid world traveler, she was a member of the local Red Hats and the Red Cross for many years. Connie was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Deal. Connie was predeceased by her husband, Italo Agostini, her son, Robert Agostini and her brother, Carmine Malanka. She is survived by her daughter, Constance Agostini of Weehawken, her brother, Anthony Malanka of Secaucus, her daughter-in-law, Susan Agostini and two grandchildren: Alexandra and Nico.
