Meatball tasting event will help infants with SMA

SECAUCUS – The Knights of Columbus in Secaucus are holding their third annual Best Meatball in Secaucus Contest this Saturday, April 12.
Proceeds will go to SMA spinal muscular atrophy. Infants who are born with this condition do not live beyond two years of age.
Last year the event raised nearly $3,000. Winners receive trophies and the first place winner also receives bragging rights for the year.
The event is being held in Immaculate Conception Church auditorium, 12 Paterson Plank Road, at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 17 and under.
