A funeral service was held March 26 for Jael Calvo 91, of Union City. She passed away March 24. She was born in New York City and lived most of her life in Union City. Jael was a teacher’s aide for the Union City Board of Education for many years before retiring. Jael was the mother of Cynthia Neira and Stephen Calvo as well as the sister of Ronnie Whitlo. She was the grandmother of Melissa, Lynette, Yvette and Michael as well as nine great grandchildren. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
