Thank you JCPD officers for unwavering commitment

Dear Editor:
January and February of 2014 has been relentless with unforgiving weather and heightened attention from the Super Bowl, especially with Jersey City playing host to both the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks. Throughout these months, Jersey City Police showcased its unwavering commitment to the residents of our City, putting in extra hours to provide the highest quality level of public service. No job is ever easy, and with unforeseen circumstances added, it takes true commitment to tackle these additional objectives without jeopardizing public safety.
Fortunately, the Jersey City Police Department has supervisors and officers held within the highest regard across New Jersey. We may not know what these coming months will bring, but one thing is for certain, and that is our Police Department is trained and prepared to tackle any challenges or adversity Jersey City may face. Congratulations are in order to the men and women in blue serving our City each and every day- thank you.

Sincerely,
