BAYONNE – The city of Bayonne’s Urban Enterprise Zone/Special Improvement District (UEZ/SID) program is holding a free seminar on how local businesses can use Facebook to increase commerce on Thursday, March 20, at the Bayonne Community Museum, Ninth Street and Broadway, from 9 to 11 a.m.
“My administration has taken numerous steps to promote doing business in Bayonne,” said Mayor Mark Smith. “This seminar is one effort among many to boost Bayonne enterprises.”
The seminar will be conducted by the Lenox Group, a firm with expertise in public relations, social media, website development, and internet trade.
Representatives of any Bayonne business are welcomed to attend.
“Many local businesses lack a presence on the Internet, and they have not tried social media to improve their sales,” Smith said. “This UEZ/SID seminar will teach local enterprise owners how to promote themselves.”
