To the Editor:
More times than not people are quick to point out the negative in a situation rather than the positive. Last Friday my mom took a very bad fall in her home. Within minutes of the 911 call McCabe ambulance was on the scene. The paramedics were the utmost professionals, accessing the situation, stabilizing her and all the time treating her with compassion and care. I was fortunate that I reached her home to be able to be with her for the transport to Jersey City Medical Center where a team of doctors, PAs, nurses, and techs were waiting for her arrival. I want to publicly thank the staff of both McCabe ambulance and JCMC’s Trauma Unit and ICU staff. We are fortunate to have them as part of our community.
