A mass of Christian burial took place Jan. 17 at St. John the Baptist Church for Vincentia T. Geiss, 87. She passed away Jan.13. Vincentia was born in Hoboken, and has been a resident of Jersey City since 1971. She was employed as a medical secretary for the Jersey City Board of Education, retiring in 1990, and was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church. Vincentia is the wife of Joseph Geiss; mother of Robert Caliguira; sister of Anthony Campanile; aunt of Thomas Golembiewski and Denise Bodnar.
