A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Jan. 15 at St. Patrick’s Church for Eileen A. Cummings. She passed away peacefully on Jan.10. A lifelong resident of Jersey City, she was a graduate of St. Patrick’s School, St. Dominic Academy and Drake Business College. Eileen was employed as an executive secretary in the asset based department of Bank of America at Exchange Place in Jersey City. Eileen is predeceased by her parents, the late Anna and George Dewey Cummings. Eileen is survived by her sister, Dorothy Cummings and special cousins, Jean and Robert Rhode. She is also survived by other relatives and cousins. Eileen’s outgoing and friendly nature will be greatly missed by her family and friends throughout Jersey City and St. Patrick’s parish communities.
