Funeral mass was offered Jan. 7 at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City, or John Jack Norton. Born in Jersey City, Jack remained a lifelong resident. He worked for many years for Local 325 construction union and then later as a custodian at Ferris High School. Jack served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Jack is survived by his wife, Gerry Norton; son, John Joseph “Jay” Norton and his constant companion, his cat, Ashley Rose. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
