Metered parking suspended in North Bergen for balance of year

NORTH BERGEN – The township parking authority has suspended metered parking until Jan. 2, according to township spokesman Phil Swibinski.
“The free parking program is designed to encourage shopping at local stores during the holiday season,” he said.
