Hannukah extends to Christmas Eve next year

For those celebrating Hannukah, the holiday fun largely ended back on Thanksgiving. But having those two holidays simultaneously will not occur again for another 7,000 years.
Next year, those hoping to extend the holiday mirth have something to look forward to. Hannukah begins Tuesday, Dec. 16, and ends the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve.
