A funeral mass was offered Dec. 19 at St. Francis R.C. Church for Aldo Cimillo, 67, of Union City. He passed away suddenly at home. A former garment factory owner in Hoboken, Aldo retired as an iron worker. A United States Army Veteran from 1965 – 1967, Mr. Cimillo was an active member of the Juventus Soccer Club. Born in Molfetta, Italy, he became a resident of Hoboken in 1960 before settling in Union City. Surviving are his wife, Marta; two sons, John and his wife Saidi, and Michael and his wife Kimberly; a stepson, Ralph Quigley; four brothers, Anthony, Mauro, Gino, and Andrea Cimillo; a sister, Ann Marie Healy; two granddaughters, Gabriella and Lily; a mother-in-law, Amelia Sallustio; and a host of nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Aldo was predeceased by his parents, John and Filomena and a brother, Mario Cimillo. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
