Here is my concern for the mayor and the city council

Dear Editor:
This town has become very bike friendly. Not a day goes by where I don’t see a bicyclist break traffic laws. I have witness them driving the wrong way on a one way street, running stop signs, running traffic lights, weaving in and out of traffic, and flying on and off the sidewalk.
I live in fear of the day I hit one or they hit one of my children, I am not alone most walkers and drivers in Hoboken consider bicyclist a cycling time bomb. I have children who walk to school, to the park, and around town. Before you laugh me off and say it is just a bicycle let’s look at the case in California where a man on a bike killed a pedestrian and was found guilty of vehicular manslaughter. So before another sign goes up saying share the road with a bicyclist, I would like to know how you plan to ensure driver and pedestrian safety. If they are going to share the road there needs to be a policy that enforcers that they obey the traffic laws.
