A funeral mass was offered Dec. 5 at Immaculate Conception Church for Charles K. Kochka, 86, of Secaucus, and Manahawkin, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away Nov. 30. He was the husband of Norma Kochka; father of Shirley Gerould, Norma Zulauf and her husband Bob, Matthew Kochka and his partner Manny Pena-Perich, Lisa Long and her husband Jeff and the late Kenneth Kochka; grandfather of Shannon, Danielle, Chantal, Bobby, Becky, Quniton, Callista, Hunter and Owen, and great grandfather of seven great grandchildren. Charles served his country in the United States Army during WW II. He was a manager for the Port Authority at the Holland Tunnel. Charles was a member of the Secaucus Fire Department and a former Captain of Engine Company 3. He was an active member of the Elks in Manahawkin, a member and former President of Village Harbor Fishing Club also in Manahawkin. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
