To the Editor:
On November 9 the Hudson County Animal League (HCAL) held an event to celebrate 20 years of saving the lives of homeless and abused animals in our community.
We would like to thank Cliff and Dan from Bridgeview Liquors and their vendors for sponsoring the wine/beer tasting.
Christian Berrigan provided guitar entertainment for the evening, and that made the event very special.
We would like to give a special thank you to Senerchia’s Deli, San Vito Restaurant, Buon Appetito, and Blimpie for donating delicious food for this special celebration. Special thanks to Dawn Signoretta for creating such a beautiful and delicious cake to celebrate the occasion!
Our thanks also to Al Richards Chocolates, Colonial House of Pets, Animal Clinic of Bayonne, Houlihans, Longhorn Steakhouse, Bridgeview Liquors, Mutts Comics, Bissell, Walt Disney Resorts, Kong and Nylabone, who donated items for our gift auction.
The supporters who celebrated the evening with us had a wonderful time. They were happy to attend and thankful to HCAL for our animal welfare efforts.
Finally, thank you to the City of Bayonne for providing us with the use of the Museum and Senior Center for this and other events we have held. We appreciate your support!
With your continued support we can continue to rescue and find homes for more homeless and abused animals.
