BRAZICKI, FRANK R.

A funeral took place Nov. 27 for Frank R. Brazicki, 88, of Newton, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away Nov. 23 surrounded by his family. He lived most his life in Jersey City before moving to Newton in 1992. Frank was an Army Master Sgt., serving in WWII where he became a disabled veteran. A proud recipient of the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and other awards, he later became a detective for the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department and retired after 25 years of service. Frank ran the family business “Brazicki’s Tavern” since 1945 and was a well-known and respected person who touched the lives of many. Frank was the husband of 61 years to the late Phyllis Ann (nee: Kubesky); devoted father of Tommy and Julie, Richard and Gail, Robert and Jaye Brazicki; loving grandfather (Poppie) of Frank, Glenn, Karen, Lauren, Kimberly, Christopher, RJ and Andrew Brazicki; dear brother of Philomena Sharik. Serevices arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City.
