To the Editor:
Recently, the St. Ann’s Society of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish held is 79th Annual Fundraiser “America the Beautiful” at The Chandelier. On behalf of the Society, I would like to thank The Chandelier’s managers, Victor, Hugo and their staff for the excellent food and hospitality that they always provide us.
Special thanks to the Bayonne Merchants and Restaurant owners who always generously donate to our fundraiser.
I would also like to thank Frank Anthony and Mathew for their help transporting all the gifts to The Chandelier.
To all of you who attended the Brunch and come and support us every year, we express our sincere gratitude. We hope everyone had a beautiful Sunday afternoon!
This year we missed one of our vital committee members, Carmella Hyman, our Past President, who could not be with us. She usually chairs the Ticket Committee. We hope she will do it for us next year. In her absence, Rose Marie Bruno assumed the responsibility. It is not an easy task and she did an excellent job and we thank her.
And last but not least, a round of applause to the entire Committee and the St. Ann’s members who assisted me throughout the preparation and completion of the fundraiser. They are the reason this organization has been in existence for almost 80 years! We have such a wonderful group that work as a team, and it shows the true spirit of the Society with the guidance of St. Ann and her motherly touch.
