PSE&G moving its Jersey City service center to new location

JERSEY CITY – Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) is moving its Jersey City Customer Service Center from its current location at 3 Path Plaza to a new facility at 35 Journal Square, near the corner of Bergen Avenue and Newkirk Street. The new location is about a block from PSE&G’s old location.
The 3 Path Plaza facility will permanently close tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 19, at 4 p.m. The new PSE&G Customer Service Center, at 35 Journal Square, will open on Monday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m.
The utility company is telling customers who need a service center on Friday, Sept. 20 to go to one of its other Hudson County facilities in either Bayonne, Union City, or Hoboken.
The PSE&G Service Center is located at 608 Broadway, Bayonne. The Union City center is at 4808 Bergenline Ave., Union City. The Hoboken service center is at 615 Washington Street, Hoboken.
The service centers allow customers to pay their PSE&G gas and electric bills and take care of other matters regarding their accounts in person. – E. Assata Wright
