On August 15, hundreds of local residents helped transform The Waterside Restaurant in North Bergen into a Las Vegas-style casino during the Palisades Medical Center Auxiliary’s seventh Annual Casino Night. Proceeds from this special fundraising event supported the Palisades Medical Center Foundation.
The event was planned and organized by the Palisades Medical Center Auxiliary, a team of dedicated volunteers that works throughout the year to develop fundraising activities that support Palisades. Presenting sponsors for Casino Night included Benzel Busch Motor Car Company, Audi Meadowlands, MTM Resources, PNC Wealth Management, New York Waterway and The Waterside.
“We are extremely fortunate to be surrounded by residents, businesses and community leaders who truly care about Palisades Medical Center and support its efforts to care for our neighbors,” said Nancy Boden, Chair of the Palisades Medical Center Auxiliary and resident of North Bergen. “Thanks to their support, our Casino Night event has become one of the most popular fundraising events in our area.”
Casino Night attendees enjoyed an exciting night of gambling, raffle drawings, and plenty of great food and spirits. Casino Night table games included Blackjack, Texas Hold ‘Em, Poker, Craps, Roulette and the Money Wheel. Entertainer Jason Nazzaro added to the Casino-style atmosphere by performing Frank Sinatra classics.
