A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Aug. 15 at St. John Nepomucene Church in Guttenberg for Ana Karcic, 89, of North Bergen. She passed away Aug. 10 in North Bergen. Ana was born in Unije, Croatia. She came to the United States in 1961 and was employed as a seamstress by Eckmil Knitting in West New York. Ana was a member of the Women’s Club of Unije. wife of the late Kostante Karcic (1985). She was the mother to Mario Karcic, Sr. and his wife Linda; grandmother to Mario Karcic and his wife JoAnn, to Kristina Ehret and her husband John, and to Michael Karcic and his wife Melissa; great-grandmother to Sarah, Julia, Jonathan, Jacqueline, Kristopher and Sophia; sister-in-law to Matea Karcic; caring aunt to Fabian.
