To the Editor:
We are not going to be able to create every innovative policy that started Bayonne’s turnaround. If anything, we will be successful at listening to the families who live here and bringing together people who believe that better things are possible. And sometimes that is a novel approach in Bayonne. But there are a lot of people who have doubts about this campaign. They don’t understand that our strength isn’t me or the committee. It’s the people coming together with us to create better things—people like you. We have an opportunity to show them just what that means. People who care can find solutions to even the most difficult challenges, and we want you to be part of the solution. That’s why we’re opening up volunteer committees and organizing volunteer meetings in town and throughout the wards and districts.
