Funeral services took place Aug. 7 for Michael J. Della Fave, of Hillsdale. He passed away Aug. 2. He was the husband of Jeanna (nee: Patrick); father of Laura Silva and her husband Robert; stepfather to Renee Messina (Steve) and Joseph Bischer (Ann). Michael will be missed by his brother John and his wife Gail of Rutherford, and his sister-in-law Isabelle. A great joy in his life were his grandchildren Matthew, Katie, Steven, Larissa, Sean, Patrick, Colin, and Maeve as well as his many nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his parents; John and Elba (nee: Rinchiuso), brothers; Sal, Jackie, and Bobby, and sisters-in-law; Linda and Mary Ann.
Mr. Della Fave was born and raised in Hoboken and was honorably discharged as a sergeant from the U.S Army. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
