A mass of Christian burial took place July 31 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Jersey City, for George W. De Sonne, 87, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. He passed away July 27. George was a retired electrical engineer and worked for Bendix Aerospace, Teterboro. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. George was an avid sailor and expert skier and a member of PasClif Ski Club. He was a devout parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Jersey City. George is survived by his sister-in-law Olga Burak De Sonne, four nieces and lifelong best friend Erwin Naumann. Servicdes arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City.
