Web sites claim that Hoboken, Miami will be partly submerged in a future lifetime

HOBOKEN — Well, we’re doomed — at least, according to several web sites that allude to a report by a scientist that says that more than 1,500 cities, including Hoboken and Miami, will be at least partially submerged by 2100.
The stories cite global warming, melting ice caps and rising sea levels. Hoboken is a low-lying area that saw flooding during Hurricane Sandy.
Other sites, including junkscience.com, are not sure about the claims, but can’t wholly disprove them, either.
