Dear Editor:
The residents of West New York are well aware of the numerous problems they are facing now. From municipal taxes that have been gone up tremendously in the past three years to scathing reports of wrongdoing in our school system, these problems continue to stare every resident directly in the face.
My campaign and others have been advocating the change in administration to start the process of remedying the issues that are plaguing the town. We do not need to turn back the clock to the days of old, and revisit policies that did not work, and will not work, for the town West New York.
In addition, West New York and its future should be decided by the residents themselves, and not outside sources. At the end of the day, our families and friends are the ones who breathe and live WNY. I suggest to those who support the change, to unite and become one voice in deciding the future of our great town.
Over the past few years, I have seen the decline of the town I spent over 35 years protecting. Some individuals have ulterior motives in keeping many of us divided, because they have seen the results when West New York is united as one. Ask yourself this question,” When is WNY going to get back to the business of being WNY?”
In closing, we need to start the renaissance of uniting ourselves in giving WNY back to the people and advise this administration and others that two wrongs don’t make a right!
