PENDRICK, GERALD J.

Funeral mass was offered July 20 at the church of Our Lady of Grace, Hoboken, for Gerard J. Pendrick, 89, of Hoboken, Monmouth Beach, and Key Largo, Fla. He passed away at Hoboken University Medical Center. Born in Jersey City, Gerard lived most of his life in Hoboken. He was employed at Anheuser Busch Brewery in Newark more than 35 years as a bottling specialist. A Navy veteran, Mr. Pendrick served during the entire time span of World War II. He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans, St. Lucy Post Jersey City, the Holy Name Society, and the Men’s Club of Our Lady of Grace Church where he was a parishioner for more than 55 years. Gerard will be missed by his wife, Mary P.; his only daughter, Mary Geralyn Pendrick; three sons, Rev. Thomas Pendrick R.C. Chaplin at Hackensack University Medical Center, Gerry Pendrick PHD, and Gary Pendrick; grandchildren, Danielle and her husband Brandon, Denis, Matthew, and Alan. Gerard shared a special bond with his brothers-in-law, Ed and his wife Fran Duff, and Thomas and his late wife Susan Duff; several nieces and nephews are also surviving. Services arranged by the Failla Funeral Home, Hoboken.
