A funeral mass was celebrated July 19 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Vito Minervini, 69, recently of Manalapan. He passed away July 15 at his residence surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Molfetta, Italy to the late Giovanni and Rosa Minervin, Vito emigrated to Hoboken in 1967. A barber by trade, Vito was the owner of Arcade Barber Shop on Summit Avenue in Jersey City for many years. He will be missed by his wife of 46 years, Nella; his sons, John Minervini and his wife, Kerry, and Anthony Minervini and his wife, Stephanie; his daughter, Rosanne Fernandez and her husband, David; and two brothers, Leo and Frank Minervini. A great joy in Vito’s life were his grandchildren, Max, Marco, Daniel, and Michael. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
