Angry Stay Puft Marshmallow Man comes to Hoboken

HOBOKEN — What pushed him to the edge? Was it the fact that parts of this old Wonder bread factory-turned-artists lofts are now going to be converted to condos? Or is it the fact that “Ghostbusters” will celebrate its 30th birthday next year?
Recently, a famous duct-tape artist and some small business owners were forced to leave their lofts in the former bread factory at Eighth and Clinton streets in Hoboken. Some (although not all) of the complex on that block is to be converted to condos. Over the years, the outside walls were often targets for some very artistic graffiti.
This past weekend, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man character appeared on the corner, made out of colored duct tape. Is he the work of the tape artist who is leaving town — or is that tape artist being framed?!
