JERSEY CITY: Third murder in 6 days

JERSEY CITY AND BEYOND – The past week has been a particularly violent one for Jersey City.
A 25-year-old Jersey City man has been arrested and charged with murder and weapons charges for allegedly stabbing a man Tuesday morning after an argument.
Investigators told NJ.com they believe the two men lived in the same apartment building on Clerk Street.
This was Jersey City’s third murder in the last six days.

A partially paralyzed wheelchair bound man was also shot and killed the same weekend.
In addition, there was a non-fatal shooting near a mosque Monday night. An argument on Montgomery Street turned violent and spilled into the mosque at 530 Montgomery. According to eyewitnesses, three men on Montgomery got into an argument that turned violent.
