JERSEY CITY — Steven Fulop’s inauguration as mayor of Jersey City was an upbeat affair, with the new administration giving locals hope for change and accountability.
Now, the party’s over.
With Fulop officially in office, he faces a myriad of challenges ahead of him, including the daunting task of balancing the city’s budget, which faces a $21 million gap.
