HOBOKEN — The sentencing of a former Hoboken City Hall employee who pleaded guilty to intercepting and redirecting the mayor’s e-mails will wait until July 29.
Patrick Ricciardi, a former information technology director for the city, pleaded guilty last year. He reportedly gave the intercepted emails to at least two other officials. Sources have speculated that the officials may have used them for political purposes or to get information for union negotiations.
The hearing this morning was delayed an hour and then cancelled because of a disagreement over restitution.
