Science fair was exciting educational experience

Dear Editor:
The Huber Street School Science Fair was extremely important to me. It gave me a chance to learn new things, figure out how to design a board, and practice presentation skills. The science Fair was also the perfect opportunity for students to prove that they have what it takes to succeed in any competition. Personally, I love the study of science, so this is also an annual cause of excitement for me. I also have to do well, as it is part of our grade.
The feeling of standing in rows, waiting for your name to be called as a winner is almost equivalent to excruciating pain. I literally felt like I was going to hyperventilate on the spot and vanish into thin air. When my name was actually called, though, my stomach stopped twisting into knots and suddenly I was floating on a cloud. This year and last year, when my name has been called, I am usually very dizzy. It’s worth it though. I felt like all my hard work finally paid off. It’s an amazing feeling. In that moment, I knew that it didn’t matter how many bad points I had on my scoring slips. The only thing that mattered was that I had succeeded.
