JERSEY CITY – Jersey City Mayor-elect Steven Fulop and his transition team tonight (Thursday, June 13) will hold the second in a series of town hall meetings designed to gather information and ideas from residents regarding their long-term goals and vision for the city.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Bethune Life Center, at 140 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Over the next two weeks Fulop and his transition team will host three town hall meetings throughout the city to solicit ideas and feedback from residents. The first of these meetings was held last week at City Hall.
A third meeting will follow next Thursday, June 20, at 7 p.m. at the Christa McAuliffe School (PS 28), at 167 Hancock Ave. A fourth meeting will be held on Monday, June 24, at 7 p.m. at the Hank Gallo Center in Lincoln Park.
