Dear Editor:
Danny Rivera is running for Councilman-at-Large along side Steven Fulop for Mayor and the entire Team Fulop slate. Rivera worked with the Joslin Center for Diabetes in both pediatric and adult medicine & the Rheumatic and Autoimmune Disease Center of New Jersey. He is a true professional that has proven himself in the private sector. He works at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center investigating society’s most life altering diseases.
Danny is running to ensure other families have the same opportunity his family has had to make Jersey City a better place. It is for certain that he cares deeply about his home town of Jersey City.
Rivera worked with Jersey City’s Youth at every level, teaching sportsmanship and team work. He has devoted his time to keeping city kids off the streets and engaged in extracurricular activities.
For 15 years, Danny Rivera has served as coach and President of the Roberto Clemente Little League of Jersey City. Like his running mate Steven Fulop, he is a U.S, Marine Corp Veteran not new to making difficult decisions that matter to the masses. Once a Marine, Always a Marine. He is a lifelong resident we can elect to Councilman-at-Large who can make everybody feel better about the future of Jersey City.
