Private funeral services have been held for Louis G. Kennell Sr., 73. He passed away April 5. Born in Hoboken, he lived most of his live in North Bergen, before moving to Toms River. He was the Chief of Security for the North Bergen Housing Authority. He was the husband of Joan D. Kennell; father of Louis G. Kennell Jr, John ‘Jack’ Kennell, Donna LaBruno and Denise DellaBella; brother of Joan Burniston; grandfather of Keith, Grace, Kristen, Alex, Anthony, Kayla, Richard, Mary, Barbara, Megan and Jackie Ann and great grandfather of four great grandchildren.
