A funeral mass was offered April 11 at St. Ann’s RC Church, Hoboken, for Michael T. DeNaro, 82, most recently of Hackensack and formerly of Hasbrouck Heights and Hoboken. He passed away April 7. He was the husband for 55 years of Lena DeNaro; and father of Joseph and his wife Francine, and grandfather of Michael and Francesca DeNaro; son to his late parents Joe and Rose DeNaro, as well as a brother to Delores McDonald, Nancy DeNaro and the late Sal DeNaro and Josephine Scardigno. He was also the uncle of many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews. Michael was employed for much of his life in Hoboken, spending the last 20 years of his career at Maxwell House. He was a devout Catholic and a kind and giving person whose main priorities were his family, religion, and love for baseball; he was a fan of the Yankees.
