Funeral services were held March 30 at Metropolitan A.M. E. Zion Church, Jersey City, for Susie Morman. She passed away on March 23. A resident of Jersey City since 1962, was born in Santuck, S.C. Susie was a long time member of Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church in Jersey City, where she was on the Stewardess Board No. 3. She was the mother of Ronnie Morman, Brenda Weeks and the late Sarah Ann Morman; daughter of the late Meridy and Poly Beam; sister of Norman G. Beam, Deaconess Queen E. Walker and Poly A. Flowers; also survived by three grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
