Dangerous stereotyping

To the Editor:
The definition of stereotyping is “a standardized conception or image.” Here are three examples to consider:
A counselor who has never taken a “sick day” in nearly 40 years but is opposed to a salary freeze for three years must be considered of a greedy sort!
A teacher who is a college graduate with high student evaluations but is related to a public official must be considered an unqualified educator!
A senior citizen who takes free trips to Atlantic City and has meals at a community center must be considered a gambler and frugal!
Come on. We are all adults. Or did I miss something?
