A funeral service was held March 23 for Crawford Elswick, Jr., 67, of Fairview, formerly of North Bergen. He passed away March 18. He was the son of the late Crawford Elswick Sr. and Margaret; father of Craig Elswick; brother of Sharon Wolpert (Leonard); grandfather of Brandon and Rachel Elswick; and uncle of Brian Wolpert and Lisa Boulanger. Crawford was born in Mouthcard, Ky. and previously lived in Fairview for four years and Secaucus and North Bergen. He was a North Bergen police officer retiring in 1988.
