A funeral mass was offered March 9 at St.’s Peter and Paul Church in Hoboken for Laura Munoz, 86, of Hoboken. She passed away March 4. She was the mother of Ret. Hoboken Fire Capt. Jesus ‘Jay’ Munoz and Alberto ‘Alby’ Munoz and the late Jaime M. Munoz Jr.; sister of Bien Venida and twelve other brothers and sisters; grandmother of Hoboken patrolman Bernardo M. Munoz and Andre M. Munoz, Jeremy M and Jayson M Munoz, Jessica M. and Jalissa M. Munoz; also Jaime M Munoz III, Natalie Cardona and Marlene M. Munoz; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Laura was retired from and worked at Tootsie Roll of Hoboken and worked with children at the Hoboken Multi Service Center ; a member of the Adult Care Center in Union City and also was a active parish member at the St’s Peter and Paul Church in Hoboken. Services arranged by the Lawton Turso Funeral Home, Hoboken.
