A funeral mass took place March 11 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Jersey City, for Neil Anthony Budhan, 44. He died March 5 at Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth. Born in Georgetown, Guyana, he came to the United States in 1985, settling in Jersey City. He worked in security for the Hudson County Sheriff’s office. He was a husband, father, son, brother and grandfather. Neil was predeceased by his mother, Panzie Budhan. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Indira Budhan; children, Mark Anthony and his wife Mala, Brian Anthony and Emma Panzie Budhan; his father Chetram Budhan; his grandson Matthew Anthony; brother, Nicholas and his wife, Jennifer; nephew, Sean; uncles and aunts: Mala, Paul, Fenton, Dato, Auntie Dede, Zita, Rita, Andy, and their spouses and children; in laws Indro and Arnold Singh; brothers in law, Rudy, Ravin, Renee, Randy, Boysingh, their wives and children; godson, Anthony; and his wife’s aunt, Dat and her daughter, Sandy.
