A funeral mass was offered Feb. 23 at St. Andrew’s Church, Bayonne, for James P. Horgan, 63, of Princeton, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away Feb. 18 at University Hospital of Princeton at Plainsboro. James was born in Jersey City and had resided there until moving to Princeton 16 years ago. He was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Bayonne for over 35 years, retiring in 2004. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1969 1971.
Husband of Mary Ellen (Nee:Gonnella). Father of Meghan K. Phillips and her husband Jim. Pop Pop to his grandson Chase. Brother of Linda Kromphold, Barbara Redfield, and Michael Horgan. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews. Services arranged by the G. Keenen O’Brien Funeral Home, Bayonne.
