A funeral mass was held Feb. 11 at St. Francis Church, Hoboken, for Paul Cemelli, 85, of Weehawken, formerly of Hoboken. He passed away Feb. 5 at Hoboken University Medical Center. Born in Hoboken, he served in the US Navy in Japan during WWII. He was a retired truck driver for Ward Trucking, prior to that he had worked as a baker in the family store, Cemelli and Son’s Bakery in Hoboken. Paul was also a member of Teamsters Local 560. He was predeceased by his wife, Genevieve (nee: Lepre), his parents Salvatore and Rose (DaPuzzo); siblings, Salvatore, Frank, Emil, Carmella Cemelli, Ann Caruso. He is survived by his siblings, Anthony and James Cemelli and numerous nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Earl F. Bosworth Funeral Home, Hoboken.
