During games played on Jan. 23 and 24 for the Bayonne PAL Basketball League’s Intermediate Boys’ Division, UNICO Club defeated Leisure Sports, 34-21. Scoring for UNICO were Corey Johnson, 18; Jacob Vodrazka, 4; Anthony Valentin, 4; Michael Aceti, 4; Dean Larwa, 2; and Anthony Flynn. For Leisure, Giancarlo Megale, 9; Edmund Broderick, 8; and Matt Brown, 4; scored points.
Marine Corp beat FMBA, 36-24. Scoring for Marine Corp were Nye Armstrong, 12; Fedor Ligabo, 10; Azhaun Dingle, 8; Ivan Alas, 2; Devin Baret, 2; and Devin Serrano, 2. For FMBA, Sean Lavin, 10; Ian Calcaterra, 8; Aidan Calcaterra, 2; CJ Cerbone, 2; and Julian Ongay, 2; scored.
NAACP defeated Cresci Law, 35-31. Scoring for NAACP were Jack Tobar, 15; Yassine Dridi, 12; and Rockquan Campbell, 8. For Cresci, Jared Dias, 10; Anthony Franconeri, 10; John Anderson, 7; and Sebastian Strzala, 4; scored points.
IMTT beat the Big Apple, 36-22. Scoring for IMTT were Shane Paradine, 17; Greg Pease, 12; Josh Roberts, 5; and Elijah Burgos, 2. For the Big Apple, Jamar Alexander, 6; Thomas Cotter, 6; Carlos Castillo, 4; and Raymond Ortiz, 2; scored.
Bayonne Municipal Council defeated BCB Bank, 37-28. Scoring for the Municipal Council were Marc Bruce, 22; Michael Daly, 6; Noah Irwin, 4; Darius Hillocks, 3; and Thamir Lamarr, 2. For BCB, Ralph Mason, 9; Justin O’Connor, 7; John Mernar, 6; Rafael Sarrosa, 4; and Shane Romero, 2; scored points.
