In the Bayonne PAL Basketball League, Mackenzie Post and Bayonne Gold came out on top in the Intermediate Girls’ Division games played on Feb. 4.
Mackenzie Post defeated Inline, 30-24. Scoring for Mackenzie were Maegan Duran, 14; Kayla Alamo, 10; Allie Duran, 4; and Emma Freyer, 2. For Inline, Adrianna Morrone, 11; Marissa Broderick, 9; and Sydney Tse, 4; scored points.
Bayonne Gold beat Dillin Tires, 28-11. Scoring for Bayonne Gold were Casey Popowski, 12; Dionna Lenardo, 9; Alexa Mark, 5; and Jada Phillips, 2. For Dillin, Rosemarie Delbert, 4; Ashley Reyes, 4; Mia Gonzalez, 2; and Atyanna Latimore, 1; scored.
