Dover Business College announced that Marie Guillaume of Jersey City has received Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification in Microsoft Office Excel 2010. Ms. Guillaume is enrolled in the Business Administration program at Dover Business College in Clifton.
“The MOS designation is the only worldwide, performance-based certification that helps validate the skills needed to ensure that business students meet certain standards of competence that have become the industry standard,” said Anthony Girardo, Dover Business College Chair of the Business Department. “A student who becomes certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist has demonstrated a level of competency that is highly sought by employers.”
In addition to working in the computer field, individuals who receive MOS certifications can use their skills to work effectively as administrative assistants, office managers, and in many other positions that require day-to-day problem-solving.
