NAACP dominates PAL games

In games played on Jan. 16 and 17 for the Bayonne PAL Basketball League, the NAACP and Bayonne Municipal Council dominated in the Intermediate Boys’ Division.
Bayonne Municipal Council beat FMBA, 50-26. Scoring for Bayonne Municipal were Marc Bruce, 27; Darius Hillocks, 6; Noah Irwin, 6; Michael Daly, 5; Thamir Lamarr, 3; and Brian Cotter, 3. For FMBA, C.J. Cerbone, 11; Ian Calcaterra, 8; and Aiden Calcaterra, 7; scored points.
Cresci Law defeated Leisure Sports, 29-25. Scoring for Cresci were John Anderson, 13; Anthony Franconeri, 7; Sebastian Strzala, 5; Brian Baranok, 2; and John Buckland, 2. For Leisure Sports, Edmund Broderick, 8; Brandon Smith, 7; Giancarlo Megale, 4; Matt Brown, 4; and James Ashe, 2; scored.
UNICO Club beat Big Apple, 23-17. Scoring for UNICO were Corey Johnson, 15; Anthony Flynn, 4; Jacob Vodrazka, 2; and Anthony Valentin, 2. For the Big Apple, Thomas Cotter, 8; Dale Murphy, 4; Robby Bloom, 3; and Carlos Castillo, 2; scored points.
NAACP defeated IMTT, 40-37. Scoring for NAACP, Yassine Dridi, 14; Rockquan Campbell, 12; Jack Tobar, 12; and Dominic Crincoli, 2. For IMTT, Gregory Pease, 17; Shane Paradine, 14; Micah Rutkowski, 2; Josh Roberts, 2; and Elijah Burgos, 2; scored.
Marine Corp beat BCB Bank, 32-15. Scoring for Marine were Nye Armstrong, 12; Azhaun Dingles, 10; Ivan Alas, 4; Devin Baret, 2; Fedor Ligabo, 2; and Tyler Young, 2. For BCB Bank, Lance Lucarelli, 6; Francois Rodas, 3; Xavier George, 2; Ralph Mason, 2; and Shane Romero, 2; scored points.
