CALICCHIO, MAY BELLE

A funeral mass took place Jan. 11 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Hoboken, for May Belle ‘Mabs’ Calicchio, 91. She passed away Jan. 6 at the North Collier Hospital in Naples, Fla. Arriving in Hoboken in 1945 as a war bride, she was predeceased by her late husband Thomas ‘The Bull’ Calicchio. Mabs resided in Hoboken with her family and moved to Secaucus in 1972. Born in Melbourne Australia, she always maintained a great love for her homeland. She was a retired employee with Standard Brands in Hoboken. Mrs. Calicchio will be missed by her two sons, Nicholas and Keith and her only daughter, Jody Moloughney and her son in law, Richard. A great joy in her life were her 10 grandchildren, Lona, Kristen, Nicole, Thomas, Keith, Mark, Joyce, Jodi, David, and Jaclyn, and her 16 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her special daughters in law, Lorraine, Cathy, and Kip. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
