A funeral mass was offered Jan. 7 at St. Francis Church, Hoboken, for Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Simeone, 77, of Union City and formerly of Hoboken. She passed away peacefully at home with her family. She worked for the Board of Education in Union City for 14 years. Betty enjoyed going on family cruises and her time with her grandchildren. Betty was the wife for 55 years to the late Joseph Simeone, Jr; mother of Joseph Simeone III, Michael Simeone and his wife Anna; grandmother of Michael, Joseph IV, Nicholas, Isabella and Michael; sister of Julie Baham and husband Paul, Mary Picinich. Also survived by relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City.
